The School my Mom works at collects the "Box Tops for Education" symbols. They use them to earn library books for their elementary school library and since Mom works with the Special Ed kids, they benefit from the books...duh, right. Anyway, I thought I would start a little contest. I'm going to host a giveaway contest for the kids. What do you have to do? Well, to begin with, you just have to leave a comment letting me know you will help out. Leave me your email address or a link back to your blog, if your email addy is listed there. I'll send you my home address. Now take note of all the Box Tops For Educations products that you purchase and when you've used your item, clip out the small symbol and stick it somewhere you won't misplace them. For every 10 Box Tops For Education Symbols that you send me, your name will be added to the drawing. They even accept expired Box Top Symbols. I'm not sure when the final date will be for the drawing. I have to ask Mom when their deadline is for turning in the points. Stay tuned for updates, more info is to follow.I've got some great ideas for the prize package, so you'll want to enter often. I'm even going to try to sew something special.....but that depends if "Satan" aka my sewing machine decides it wants to work.

Baaahahahahaha!!! I have an entire ziplock baggie at the house! The Bug refuses to take them to her school because she's embarassed to go into the front office and put them in the collection box....
So guess what? I will send them to you. And I already have your address. And I will keep sending more. In fact, I have so many, I will go ahead and put them in stacks of 10 and secure them with rubber bands.

Marianne...lol, you crack me up. Well, you certainly are going to be make it hard for others to win, but you never know, the person that only put in one entry could just as easily win...though, it seems your odds are going to be pretty darn good.
I might do a seperate prize for most entries...that's a good idea as well.

Philip is now wrestling a giant Snoopy toy and I believe Snoopy has him pinned.

Come on....you know, one upon a time, you went to school there too. Well not the elem part but the jr high and high school....thqat counts.
Even the Mighty Red Baron couldn't get the best of Snoopy...so it only figures that Snoop would take down Phillip. Speeking of Snoopy and the Red Baron...I loved that song as a kid.

I'll have to pass on this one too! Becca sends them to her class too. The only thing about that is that I cook to many "homemade" dishes and don't have as many.. OH well.. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!
How long is she collecting them for? I had a bunch but one of my local couponers from the group took mine. I have campbells labels (?). Is she doing those too?
well my kids collect them too but i think we can spare 10 since we eat hamburger helper all the time so we get lots of them lol
Mandy~ I understand. You know, they come on garbage bags and breakfast foods, so it doesn't matter if you cook from scratch so much, you can still get them.
Andi~ It looks like the are due after Labor Day, so that's my goal, but you can send them whenever you want and get them out of your hair as you go. I'm going to put a thing on my sidebar and log entries as we go. They don't collect the Campbells labels anymore, I don't know why, but they don't. I think my friend Tami does though. If you'd like to donate them to her school, let me know, I'll ask her about it.
