I didn't carve it...so, eat up Fuzzy Butt!

La, la, la...what's this?! Hmmmm, I guess I'll investigate. It can't hurt to check it out. Hmmm, smells interesting. I wonder if its edible. Well, there's only one way to find out. We just have to make sure that nobody is looking. Gotta check all the windows. There's always someone in there spooking me. Nope, nope, it looks clear. Wait, FREEZE! False alarm. OK, here we go...Ready, Set...

ATTACK!
OMG, his brains taste sooo good. I wish I'd been here earlier to get his eyeballs. The best stuff always goes first.

For the record...I still think they are just big furry rats but I don't mind them when they are eating someone else's hard work. Plus, seriously, look at that face...no artistic merit there, just standard jack-o-lantern face. It's hard to get worked up over that being eaten.

Well, at least you have a pumpkin! There is not a pumpkin to be had in this town that I have seen. Funny, the grocery store use to have some, but not this year, as of yet anyway.Wierd!! Never did like carving the suckers anyway. But I do have some thingys to stick in one for decorations. Guess I'll put them away, cause I don't think I'll get out of town for a while, at least not before Halloween!! By the way, I think the gray squirrels are prettier than the goofy red ones we have here..

What great pictures! Amy is absolutely TERRIFIED of squirrels, she would have shit if this had happened at our house.

Poor Amy! I'm not scared of them, I just really can't stand them. Ever since the year I carved a very hard design into a pumpkin, that took FOREVER to do...I sat the pumpkin outside and later when I walked outside, I had the crap scared out of me when one of those fuzzy bastards FLEW out of the face of the pumpkin. He'e eaten his way inside and when I shut the door, I spooked him.

This is fantastic! I love watching them almost as much as I love running them over!

Every time I see a dead squirrel along the road, I do this...in this order.
1)Ewwww, road kill
2)once I get a better look and know its a squirrel, I say, "Serves you right, you furry little bastard!"
3)smile wildly

I can't help myself.

Squirrels! Gah! They are going crazy over my pepperberry trees right now. They also like to eat the oranges but leave the mostly uneaten orange on top of the fence. What a mess! It's like homeless people have moved in.

Thanks for the photo story!

Our squirrels look like Disney squirrels unless they get their tail caught in something & then they have this bare naked appengage trailing behind them.

When we went camping "out west" we wanted a site by the ocean. We drove through a campsite, no one was around - everyone at the beach etc -- and there were black squirrels all over the place, trying to open their containers, get in their campers...looked like an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

But it was right across a 2-lane street from THE OCEAN. We stayed there anyway, just made sure everything was put away all of the time, and when all of the people came back, the squirrels went into hiding.

It was a nice place to stay so long as I didn't think about what was going on behind our backs.

How funny! I never knew squirrels liked pumpkins, or Jack-O-Lanterns, to be more specific. ;-Þ
