LOL...OMG

My Uncle Gary sent me this picture last night. He said he thought I should post it on my site. It's so bad, how could I not! This was taken when we went to California and visited Gary and Carole....a loooooong time ago. Luckily, I was the only one without a FRO.....what was it with perms?! I guess I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to have my picture taken though. Sheesh. I'm cracking up over my little sister. It is obvious that Tisha wore a one piece bathing suit...That much is obvious, look at her tan legs and her white belly. Now keep in mind that I also lived at the pool all summer long, but I don't look tan at all. Some things never change.
I'm also wearing my clogs! Awwww...I loved my clogs. I know I have mentioned them before.

This was the vacation that I ended up sick most of the time. I had a fever and a sore throat. I felt like doo-doo.

I am loving that combo of red clogs and what looks to be gold satin hot pants. Did you have a previous career as a roller derby disco queen? Ah, thanks for sharing!lo

ROFL...FYI Raine, I was so a roller skating fan. I lived for it. There is nothing like dancing on wheels! The clogs look red in thepic but they were actually a caramel brown. LOVE THEM! Lets face it, you have not lived until you have worn yellow satin shorts in public and not been arrested for prostitution.

Mandy, I'm sure if you posted childhood pics of yourself, I could find some silly things to make fun of you about. Who has to wait until your daughter is older...hehehe.

I have to quote a Roseanne episode here. "Man, who gets drunk and cuts this families hair?" I am sorry but we just watched that episode the other night.

Andi~ At one point I had Farah hair. Scary thought...I alos had a great shirt that said SUPER CHICK in sparklie colors. It was a good shirt to wear to the roller rink...it caught the light. lol

Kare~ That picture is something, alright! I'm just glad I wasn't wearing my red white and blue shorts that day....then they would really have something to make fun of me over.

Cindy~ Where have you been?

Mandy~OH COME ON! You know you want to share with us!

You do look rather Jody Foster-esque in those shorts. I don't think I wore anything BUT clogs in high school!

Are those moccasins that your dad has on. Did those yellow satin shorts pay for your trip to California. Just kidding. I love old pictures of other people just not me.

In reference to the hair styles>>>> Afros were a thing in the late 70's early 80's.. You weren't "nobody" unless you had one... Gees, even Allen got one and that was a surprise, cause anyone who knows him, knows his hair is straighter than straight..so he even got in on the "thing".. don't bitch about the satin gold shorts... You picked them out. I was iffy on them, but you insisted on having them.. Lucky me,, you can't really see my hair thanks to the background blending in with it.. I don't really remember why you didn't have an afro, did you ever have one???
