Happy Saint Patrick's Day! May sure you are sporting some green. I know it is especially important if you are going to be around kids because those little devils will pinch the be'jesus out of you. Make sure you have some corned beef and cabbage...perhaps a green beer. Run around dancing a jig and singing with a fake Irish accent, for no other reason than its just good fun. I have no green to wear. Luckily, it's not a school day so my kids have forgotten. By the way, John is part Irish and he apparently believes instead of being pinched, people are supposed to beat the crap out of you.

I forgot about it. Hardly anyone coming into the library had green on. I could have done a great deal of pinching! (But I didn't have any green on either)
We went out for corned beef & cabbage - first time I didn't make it at home. That's 1 of the perks to being an empty nester - can afford to eat out more.

I fixed our corn beef and cabbage on Wed. mainly because we had Rue on Sat. and I didn't think I would be able to do it with her here.. and besides, I didn't want the smell of cabbage to haunt her dreams!!!!
