My Niece was finally born by C-section. Tisha only dialated to 9 and after an hour of trying to get things moving, Doc called for a C-setction...which Tisha said she was very glad to hear. She'd had a long day. Mommy and Baby are doing fine but the Doctors have asked that Tisha not have visitors today so she can get some rest, she needs it, she's worn out. I did speak to her and she sounds very happy but exhausted.Here are the stats:
Rue Carrington Kuhl
was born December 8th at 4:26 AM CST
at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh, Nebraska,
Rue weighs 7 lbs 14 oz,
was 19 1/2 inches long,
has brown hair,
with big feet and is an active little kicker. Grammy said that her little feet have been kicking up a storm in the nursery. I'm hoping that with those big feet she is goint to be tall like her Daddy.
I have not picked out a nickname yet, I thought I would wait until I see my baby niece and for Tisha to heal up a little bit before I start freaking her out with my choice of a nickname. I will be taking suggestions all week. lol, that will be another post.
I'm so excited! Pictures are supposed to be on the way. The nut cases have to figure out how to download the pictures but they won't do that until after they all get some sleep.

I checked your site one last time before leaving for work. Congratulations on being an Aunt.Tisha probably had a few new names for Dewey. Glad everything went well. I'll have to go down this weekend and see her before you. Ha Ha. Can't wait to see the pictures they will figure it out . I'm the one that can't do that with out the help of the kids. Shit I better get to work before the fire me( make my day). This makes me more exited about being Grandma.
Congratulations, Auntie! What an ordeal for your sister. After all that time, I'd have wanted them to hit me over the head with a hammer to put me out of my misery.

Yeah, I had thought of that but Kanga was the Mother of Poo so it didn't really work.
I think you should call her G.G. (short for Golden Girl since Rue McClanahagn is the only other famous Rue I know). I also like Rootin-Tootin.

Raine....lol, you always come up with cute stuff. I'm partial to Rootin Tootin...and if she takes after her FATHER, that name would be perfect. G. G. has a ring to it too.

Well, so far the only one to visit her and give her a nickname is the pastor of the church.. When he asked what her name was, Tisha said Rue Carrington Kuhl, he pause a minute and said he had a perfect nickname.. R.C. only because he loves R C Cola. I don't think Tisha was to impressed.. When I told Vickie the story, she came up with Royal Crown for the RC.. Poor girl,, soda and booze..for ties to a nickname....got to tell you all though, she is a cutie... and a thumb sucker.. She keeps trying to put her thumb in her mouth but the hospital gown has sleeves that are to long and she can't find her thumb, so she just puts on this cute little pout with her lips and keeps her hand up by her mouth...So far a good baby.. I haven't heard her cry yet. Just a few whimpers when I picked her up and then a lot of squirmming and then settled down. She doesn't like light very well, and won't open her eyes if there is a lot.. She wrinkles up her face and squeezes her eyes tighter when a camera flashes.. Aha, Netter, maybe she won't appreciate all the bright Christmas lights that you think need to be put up......lol
Pops held her for about an hour last night. He said she opened her left eye first and peeked out then open the other one..He thought it was so cute...Her hair is brown, about the same color as her moms..and straight, about an inch long..She has chubby cheeks and a nice little round tummy. Her legs are chubbier than I remember most kids being.. Maybe she is going to be muscluar like her Auntie Nett....lol.. Just what you wanted to hear, huh, Netter???? I had better quit rambling or I will use up a lot of blog space... Oh, by the way, Netter, You have used up all of Duane and Tisha minutes on their phones this past months and they have a $250.00 phone bill.... They really didn't need this added bill to all the other ones they will be getting.. You owe them big time.. I know it's nice you are concerned and like to keep in touch, but there should be a limit, especially to gabby you when you get on the phone.. Just a piece of advise. I'm not cussing you out or anything, just letting you know what Dewey told dad last night...Gotta go.. catch you soon..

I'm also certain that Rue's Mommy will use the term "the mother of all poo!" sometime in the future regarding little Rue, so I think Kanga is an appropriate nickname.
lol...so true, so true. Actually, there is a funny poo story involving Rue already. I should blog about it. The Pastor called her R.C. Cola...but I'm going to have to come up with something strange and catchy...I'm leaning toward Kanga as my Sister's new nickname.
Nut cases, are we now?? I have you know that I just e-mailed you 2 pictures, that I put on a separate disk, just so I try to figure out how to do it.. Pretty simple once you have a disk to use.... by the way, how do you delete picture on the disk that you don't want. There are still pictures of the orange flags in Central Park.. that loaded on my computer when I loaded Rues pictures..??and one of you and Grandma S...
