Nothin' to see here, people, move along. Ok, if you insist on staying, atleast take your shoes off and make yourself comfortable. Once I get started...well, you could be here for a while. (Just ignore the typos. I do.) Yes, snacks are allowed as long as you share and clean up after yourself. Oh yeah, hey...if you happen to see my scissors around here, could you let me know. I could have sworn I had them right here a minute ago.

Hypercompe scribonia
I found this Leopard Moth hanging out on our screen for a few days. It finally flew away last night. She was supper fuzzy...and very cute close up. I wasn't sure what kind of Moth she was so I had to do some research to track it down, but I am pretty sure I have it right. I had never seen one like this before. It's not an insect that you'd find flying around the lights at baseball games in Nebraska. I had to share it with you...she is to pretty not to.

Ack! I never saw one of those in NY!! I hate moths! They're just big bugs that fly around lights. Yuk!
lol, not a bug person huh? Well, I don't mind bugs as long as they don't bite, sting, make noise, sneak up on you, eat your clothes, or leave stuff for you to clean up....like webs. The first time you get attached by ants because you are sitting near their mound, sill be the last time. Ouch!
That is awesome looking. I have never seen one of those before. Great pic.
I had the coolest experience today--we went to the Natural History Museum to see the Darwin exhibit and after the Butterfly exhibit closed Kissiffer's work friend Arlene (who volunteers as a guide) invited us back in to see them release the newly hatched butterflies. It was amazing, we got to hold them and see them all up really close (they gave us magnifying glasses to see their eyes). She knew all the names and they were really breathtaking, especially the Birdwings and Blue Morphos.
Damn it! I should have skipped out on Sam's piano crap and gone with you...dang, dang, dang. I hope you got pictures.
That's exactly why I don't like bugs - they either bite, sting, make noise, sneak up on you, eat clothes, make a mess, fly around your head or crawl through your house. Eww, just talking about bugs give me the willes! Bleck!
I met a guy in college that told me he was an entomology major to which I replied, "Gross! Why?" LoL! Wasn't I nice?!
