Today there was an air show at Jones Beach. The blue Angels were doing aerial stunts and they would fly inland to get ready for their maneuvers. They came in so close at times that you could see the colors of the planes and read the markings. My battery was dead though, so I didn't get any close ups...Darn it. But here is a picture of them heading southwest, the Jones Beach tower and concert hall are visible in the background if you happen to know where to look.

The Blue Angels in our backyard
Today there was an air show at Jones Beach. The blue Angels were doing aerial stunts and they would fly inland to get ready for their maneuvers. They came in so close at times that you could see the colors of the planes and read the markings. My battery was dead though, so I didn't get any close ups...Darn it. The Blue Angels are in the bay area every year or so and do their practice maneuvers over the valley. Man, they are loud!!
They are coming to Lincoln in September. And guess who gets to eat with them and hang out with them. Yep me I have connections. Some are so good looking. I'll be in the VIP Tent .Yep the General and Me.
