Dead Bugs for your eyes only!

Ok, these are my dead bugs...yes I bought dead bugs. While I was in the City last weekend, Christopher and Raine talked me into getting them. I did want them but with Christmas coming up I was fighting the urge. Anyway, while I was standing there looking at all the different displays I muttered to myself with a sigh, "You can never have too many dead bugs hanging around your house." The girl next to me said, in her southern accent, Oh my God, I never thought of it like that. I don't know if I can get them now." I think in the end she did buy a display...but it is kind of a gross thing. Anyway, these butterflies are raised and placed in the display in Peru, or so the salesman told me. You can't even begin to see how pretty these flutterbys are in this picture...MAN, I do love butterflies....How do you catch a butterfly? With a net...Annette...get it...A NET. I need to get a life don't I? lol Posted by Picasa

Those are some very cool bugs.
I catch dragonflies here and send them to my cousin in Philly. She collects them.
We have a moth here that you can only catch at night if you are lucky. It's called a Lunar Moth and it is really pretty.

Kip, I love dragonflies too but butterflies are my mascot, I guess you could say. We had Lunar Moths in Nebraska...I saw one once. They are huge and quite impressive.

A Net. A Net. Get it? HA! At least it got my Dad to quit calling you Lynette. Even now he still refers to you as "Butterfly". Now if I could just get him to quit calling Kim "Tim".

lol...Tim...I forgot about that. So, what you are saying is that Amy is the only one he calls by their real name?

Hey, don't feel bad. My name is Kip and I get called everything but. Mostly, Skip or Chip.

Skip! Chip! I like those names as nicknames. I'm still very fond of Skeeter...but Kelsie isn't so fond of it. You can't pick your nickname though and that kid is just like a big skeeter, buzzing around your ear...up to no good and out for blood. lol
