Tisha is out of surgery...

The doctor said that everything went really well. She is in recovery and when I talked to Mom, she was still out cold. I'll keep you posted as the events unfold. For those of you that may want to go visit her she is at Bryan West....or the old Lincoln General Hospital. I'm not sure she can have company today but she will be out of the hospital in a few days depending on how she does.

I am so thankful that the surgery went well. I have been praying for Tisha and have been thinking about her all day. As far as churches go, I am a spiritual person, but I do not believe in churches because they just want your money and are so judgemental of everyone else. It is funny I know people who go to church every Sunday and are so unkind and dishonest, but I also know people who never go to church and they are the kindest people that you could meet. Anyway keep us posted on Tisha.

Great news. I don't envy Tisha the pain that's coming but at least she made it through surgery okay! I go to church pretty often but there's not enough space here to air my woes with my chosen organized religion. As a nun, Sister Valerie, once said to me, "Sitting in a garage doesn't make you any more a car than sitting in a church pew makes you a Christian". I just love that quote!

Raine, I love that quote too. It's so true. I also know what you mean Cindy, I know people that do nothing the whole service but sit there and judge people what they are wearing or who they saw them talking to before. Just look at the Kaster's...a sinful lot but when the chips are down and you need a hand, we are there for you.
