My Niece Rue won!
Every year at the Johnson County Fair, they have a cutest baby contest. Once long ago, my Cousin Jeff won. I remember seeing the trophy at his Parents house, years ago. This year, our little Rue won. The pic on the newspaper clipping isn't Rue, its just a random picture that they used....but the picture below is the picture that she won with. The color is off so you can't see her pretty bright blue eyes and I can't find my copy of it. Snapfish isn't cooperating with me tonight.

So cute, cuteness runs in the family judging from her auntie Nett, me thinks. She reminds me of a Who, like maybe Cindy-Lou Who's little sister, melting the heart of the Grinch. BUT PLEASE I BEG YOU: Don't let her get involved in those child beauty pageants! For the love of Krispy Creme donuts, don't!!
Oh GAG, Raine, We would NEVER put our little sweetheart in those pagents. 5 year olds in heavy makeup and frilly dresses with teased, hairspray helmet give me the creeps.

I wish that I could see her on the 6th, but I have to work. I do not know how long they will have the reunion, but I get off of work at 2:00. All Kaster's are cute!!!!!

Jeff didn't win the cutest baby it was a crawling contest here in Lincoln. I can't believe that you remeber seeing the trophy. Do you ever forget anything. Wait till you get older and you get CRS like I have. I got to see Rue at Your moms birthday dinner. And got to eat some homemade Ice cream that Rue and your dad made. I say Rue probably did most of the work.
Really!? He didn't? I alwayd thought he did. Hmmm, that explains a lot....lol. He was a cute baby though, I remember him when he was little.
Yep, Rue Rue is PaPa's helper. Someone has to keep him on track. I don't doubt that she did do most of the work. You know your Brother...lol.

yep, the blue eyes and the incredibly long eye lashes.. They do show up much better on the photo if you are looking at a 5x7. I swear they are at least 1/2 inch long, and dark... She is going to be a flirter when she get older, no doubt about it!!!
I don't think the child beauty pagents are quite up her alley.. Takes a lot of money to keep up with all the locations clothes, etc..besides, mom can't get off work all the time to take her to them.. The baby contest was just a shot in the dark, a one-timer thing..we just couldn't resist putting her in it.. She is such a cutie!!!
