Bottle cap earrings

Raine had a pair of really cool Italian Beer cap earrings on the last time I saw her. She bought them in Rome. Actually she went back and bought them because her husband tried to tell her she didn't need them. I'm glad she let her better judgement rule. Anyway, I was looking at those earrings and I thought to myself, "I could make those." I have to say this is not a new statement for me. I tend to think I could make anything, if I am given the correct tools. Anywho, I dug through my bead collection and found the gold European hinge earrings that I had purchased for another project. I then dug out my wire, dremel drill, small drill bits, and wire cutters. I knew I had some Miller Lite beer caps left over, via my Cousin in Summerfield Kansas. Marianne's favorite beer is Miller Lite....so she received my very first pair of bar earrings. I don't have a picture of Raine in her beer cap earrings, or I would have posted it as well.

Just lovely! I am going to think about what other special bottle caps we can make earrings out of!

Thanks Netters! I love them! They rock! And I can't wait to make the other bar flies jealous.

Thanks for letting me be first. I like being first. It's my favorite.

Oh Netter, those are great!
As soon as I saw the pic of the earrings, I was taken back in time to about 16 years ago when my then 6 year old daughter picked up two beer caps off the table and declared that they would make 'beautiful' earrings. (It was WildCat beer with a pic of a cat on them) We all laughed at the thought of a six year old wearing those earrings to school and imagining the calls we'd get from the teachers.
Love them. Looks like they found a good home.

Okay - these are so cool! Now you don't have to worry about what to get everyone for Christmas now - just start drinking & everyone will get earrings!

Those are so cute. I like Bud Light (hint hint). Signed your favorite cousin that works in a bar from Summerfield.

Oh my gosh... LOL! My mom would love these. They stay at an RV park during the summer months and everyone there drinks Miller Lite like it's water!

Mare~ You are so welcome....glad you like them.

Kare~ I have never heard of that beer! Hmmm, I think your daughter had a good idea. I wonder if I can get my hands on a pair of those caps? I'll have to check out Ebay.

Darlene~ Careful, you might get stuck with a pair yourself....lol. If you want a pair...send me a set of caps of your favorite beer or capped beverage.

Andi and DH~ Thanks! Raine deserves all the credit for buying a pair while she was on vacation in Italy.

Cynthia Joanne~ That was shameless....lol, and I would have done the same thing. You want a pair, send me the caps. While you are at it...include a few caps from the other beers you serve.

Miyon~ I have more Miller caps, want me to make a pair for her?

That is cool. I can't help you with beer caps but sure could help you with wine corks. I might be able to find a few. You are so talented.

Kare~ LOL, sounds like your town is a lot line my hometown. If you happen to find some caps scattered on a lawn by a passed out drunk, send them my way. Uh, I mean the caps not the drunk...lol, I better clarify that.
