What I hear everyday...

I thought I was being sneaky and I turned my camera on to capture Sam playing his piano. He plays all the time. It's really quite a pleasure and when he is gone for a while, I miss the music. He's a talented kid. It vibrates a lot because I just sat it on the table and walked away (you can hear me sneeze at one point) and the floor really vibrates when he plays. I should have placed the camera on some fabric or something. Oh well.

OH my gosh....That was beautiful. I got chills from it. Very nice. Thanks for sharing that with us.

I know, isn't he good. That isn't even one of the best pieces he plays....its just the one I managed to catch. You never have to ask him to practice the piano, he just does it. Actually, its what he does for a break between homework subjects most of the time.

I wish my son would practice his sax more. It sounds so pretty when he really gets to playing it. Maybe as he gets older he will.

You know Sam plays the tenor sax also...but he rarely practices it. He's really into his piano. He has written some original music and had it copy righted. In the 8th grade, his select choir group proformed one of his pieces in the spring concert. WE are very proud of him. Now if he would only put the life jackets away after he takes the boat out. Yeah, that is probably asking for to much. lol
