Nothin' to see here, people, move along. Ok, if you insist on staying, atleast take your shoes off and make yourself comfortable. Once I get started...well, you could be here for a while. (Just ignore the typos. I do.) Yes, snacks are allowed as long as you share and clean up after yourself. Oh yeah, hey...if you happen to see my scissors around here, could you let me know. I could have sworn I had them right here a minute ago.

Ahhhhhh, take a long sniff....Ahhhhhhhh
I love...I said I LOVE the smell of blooming lilacs. I stick my nose in them and take longs deep sniffs of its lovely scent. I'm sure I have probably sucked up a bug or two in my time but it is worth every bit of it. I think it is my all time favorite scent in the whole wide world....its glorious, simply glorious. May, I love this time of the year......Ahhhhhhhhh....sniffffffffff......Ahhhhhhhh!

Kim! Thank you...your so sweet. I'll keep an eye open. I'm mailing something to you too...can you guess what?! lol
Sue, they are a neighbors...and I have to resist the urge to go clip them during the middle of the night...seriously, I do. Yeah, that would just be wrong.
An you wander why you have allergys. I like them to . Mine haven't bloomed yet. Everybody elses have. I don't know whats wrong with mine.
I'm not allergic to lilacs....just certain tree pollens.
Lilacs are THE # 1 Springtime scent ever. We don't have them in Texas - we have crepe myrtles instead. They look a little like them when they bloom and there are different colors but they don't have the smell. We had a whole bunch of them outside our house when we were little. Sometimes the scent would be so strong it would knock you off your feet & you would have to just lie there breathing in in.
