LOL, Ranie and Christopher went to Vegas and they know how I love these type of old pictrues and ads that have funny quotes attached to them. Raine had another one picked out but Christopher thought I would enjoy this one more. It really made my day. Thanks guys. You crack me up! Posted by Picasa

Phones....I love them...

I had a phone conversation that lasted for a couple of hours earlier today. I spoke to my Cousin Cynthia. It's always fun to talk to Cindy. She cracks me up but then again, so does her daughter, Danielle. I talked to Raine today....Sherry called....and my Tisha. Tisha called because they, being Mom and Tisha, had a question about paint for me. I'll have to see tomorrow if my suggestion helped. I got a little letter from Tami with pictures of the kids in it. So cute! Right now, I am heading to bed.....good night all!

The Doctor is in.

I was sitting downstairs debating which book I should start reading when I hear Cliff ask someone where I am. It was either Sam or Pierre. I think to myself, "Oh crap, what now!" So, here comes Cliff limping along, looking happy to see me. He sticks his foot up on the desk and asks me if I have a straight needle. It seems that he had a splinter in his toe. Not just some little splinter either, it was huge. He thought he had stubbed his toe when he went out for a swim off the dock earlier. He hadn't really looked at it all day and he has been limping all evening because it hurt but once he tried to go to sleep it started throbbing. Hence the visit to Doctor Nett. I got out the needle and the tweezers. We got the sucker out but not before Cliff asked if we had anything to numb it. Sorry, I'm all out of morphine....what do I look like a fully equipped emergency room? I then had to wash off his boo-boo and put some antibiotic and a band-aid on it before I sent him off on his way. I did my second good deed for the week, perhaps I will get my wings after all. The horns are growing old.

I have to show you this. No, seriously, I do. They have these children's tea sets at IKEA...and they are like $10.00. Not bad for real china....but they come in a plain white finish. So, when Kelsie was here I got out the porcelain paint and we went to town. She told me to paint the flowers and she did the blue on the tea cups and the plates as well as the grass on the big plates. I put the clouds on and she painted the tops of the tea pot and sugar bowl yellow like the sun. See...there is a theme going here. I baked them and now they are dishwasher safe and ready for an Americal Girls Dollie tea party. You bring the cookies and Kelsie will make the tea.

Ok, I am done with the book.

I read the last page of Harry Potter a while ago and I called to discuss it with Cindy but she was at the bar. Darn it! Danielle said that her Mom was right when she said that I would finish it before Danielle. Ah ha! I was racing and didn't even know it. I smoked right through it. I'm sad, excited and just annoyed that I have to wait so long for the next book to be released. If you want to discuss the book....call me...or email me. I leave you with these little quotes: " The memory of a good person is a blessing." and "Greif is the price we pay for love."

Harry Potter and my Mother.

Ok, I only have 100 pages of H.P. left. I'm going to get it over with tonight because it is driving me crazy. It's getting so good, I can't stand it. I really need to get a life....one more exciting than the one I have. I'm not sure that is a good idea though...the excitement could kill me. My Mother called me from her emergency cell phone today and for some reason, who knows why, she could not hear me...but I could hear her. I was yelling into the phone. She Just kept saying, "Annette?", "Annette?", and in a very annoying fashion...to which I replied, "Mom?", "MOM!" I tried calling her back...but the same thing happened. After my 5th attempt to get a hold of her, I gave up and left a message on the phone at home. I'll have to see if she calls me back or if she has fallen and broken a hip while painting the walls in her new house. I'll keep you posted on Millie's status. I'm off to read H.P. now.

I want some strawberries!

A friend of mine showed me a picture of some strawberries topped with cream that another friend sent to her online. Yummy! I have been dying to get my hands on those berries ever since. They looked so inviting. I just want to put them to my mouth and taste their sweet juicy flavor. I'm going to have to pick some up when I am in Connecticut this weekend. Stew's always has nice berries. Did I make you hungry?

It's going to be an interesting day afterall....

I have been up for 45 minutes and already I have had strange things happen. After I scared Cliff, I discovered that I had two pennies and a quarter stuck on my right leg. I guess I must of had some change in my bed when I made it yesterday. Funny, I have no mempry of seeing them there. I did clean out my purse on my bed though....hmmmm. I almost wanted to leave them there to see how long it took them to fall off my leg. With my luck it would have been hours until they gave up and I want to take a shower in a little bit so I was forced to pop them off. They were stuck really well. I guess I should be happy that I didn't have a penny stuck on my face or something. My first question is...why does this stuff happen to me? The second question is...If I hadn't noticed them stuck to my leg, how long would it have taken for someone to notice and point it out to me?"

Hehehehe...and I did it on purpose.

I got up fairly early today, even though I was up quite late reading. I poured a bowl of cereal and was sitting downstairs eating it. Cliff came downstairs and was looking in the fridge for his diet Snapple drink and when he couldn't find any there he started looking on the shelves. This is the point, once realizing that he had not seem me that I said loudly, "Good morning Cliff." His reply after a slight jump..."You scared the hell out of me."..to which I said, "Oh, did I, I thought you saw me." LOL, yeah right, I was just getting him back for all the times he sneaks up on me when I am doing laundry and can't hear him walk up behind me. It's the little moments in life that give us the biggest thrills.

Sam's home from camp....

I've missed the little guy. OK, he's not so little anymore. I just enjoy hanging around with him. Her cracks me up, he's so funny sometimes. It was way to quiet with him gone. I missed him playing all the jazz songs on the piano. I waited to see Willy Wonka with him but I found out that he is going with someone else, its OK because he needs some bonding time with her. We ended up going to Wedding Crashers tonight with his friend Derek. I wasn't going to go but then they told me that they needed me to get in...it was R rated. Sam's Mom said it was OK, so we went. It was OK, the boys liked it...but ofcourse what teenage boy doesn't like to see girls flopping on a bed, naked, with breasts flopping. I had no idea that was going to be in there...it reminds me of the porn scenes in Love Actually. He's older now..so I don't feel as bad about letting him see that stuff.

I went back to the dentist today an I have to go back again on Thursday at 2. At that point I hope to be done with the dentist until my 6 month cleaning in November. Cross your fingers for me. I think Mom and Dad closed on their new house yesterday. A little paining and then they can move in. Just a reminder that Christmas will be at Mom and Dad's. I am planning on being home. Note: You are required to attend. I'm hoping Cindy and Danielle are up for a game fest. I plan on kicking some ass in Rumicub. Actually, we could play "Spoons" but that gets too violent when the Kasters play. I'm off to read some more Harry Potter. I'm half way through it. I have to finish soon so I can discuss it with Chris and Katie before they head back to college. Night all!

Strangers in the night.

I was online late last night. I just couldn't sleep....perhaps because I had a slight headache which turned into a whopper. Anyway, this crazy guy IM'd me and I can't always resist the urge to screw around with their minds for a bit. If they get nasty right away, I block them but if they are even slightly nice, I humor them for a little bit. He was so pathetic. Really he was. He was trying to work it. He wanted to know my wildest sexual experience....you know perverted stuff like that. I made up some nasty stuff and he was loving it. I really think he is a closet kink. I mean, I'm never going to met this freak, so why not sit back and enjoy his sick little mind. Is that so wrong?

Hugs...awwww, thanks!

Who keeps giving me hugs? I have to thank you! It's so nice to know you care. For those of you that have no idea what I am talking aobut...note the right hand side of my site, near the bottom of all that crap, below the site meter. You have put a smile on my face. I have to go now...lots to do and no ambition to do it.

Yeah, and that goes double for my site. Posted by Picasa

YeeeHaaaa! We still have that little horse. I used to love riding it. This was taken on my second birthday, so it was May 7th,1972. Look at my strawberry blonde hair. I'm still that white...ho hum, I was never meant to tan. Posted by Picasa

I kind of remember this photo being taken. I was eating popcorn out of that silver mixing bowl and I had a tooth ache. Tisha was cranky. She might of had an ear infection. Once again....what is with those pants. I look like a pint sized lumber jack. Posted by Picasa

Uncle Greg, in the blonde wig, My Mom, looking quite young in the stripped shirt and me in brunette wig. It looks like I had a beer belly...what the?!The crap they use to dress me in....reallly! I'll never forgive them for the bell bottoms. I don' t care if they were in style....ewww. Posted by Picasa

Look at me, will you just look at me. Was I ever really that little? Posted by Picasa

Ok, its a fact that I am drawn to heart shapes and butterflies. I don't know why, I just am. When I saw this origami butterfly display at the Long Island Children's Museum, I had to have a picture. Posted by Picasa

One sick Katie...

Yes, my little Katie Leach is sick. Her parents were still in France and she caught something....something awful. I spend the whole day with her. It was like the old days when I pumped the fluids into her and kept her eating. She is going back to the Doc on Tues to make sure she doesn't have mono. Poor kid. Atleast her Mom and Dad are home now. I picked them up from the airport. JFK was a friggin' zoo.

Stuck with tickets again.

Mark my words, I will never purchase tickets for other people ever again. I get stuck with tickets that are never paid for all the time. Rent tickets at $90.00 a pop, 3 hockey tickets at $50. a pop, and now Slava's snow show at $60.00 a pop. Its enough to make me sick. Ok, so I bought the Slava tickets for Kelsie's visit, and she went home early because she was homesick...I can't blame an 8 year old. So, Katie was going to go with me. She got really sick. Then I spent all day calling everyone I knew. I couldn't give those tickets away. Everyone was either gone or busy. Darn it.

I ended up spending the night at Christopher and Raine's (they were in Vegas) with the Kitties that were very glad to see me. I have to admit, I love those cats. I'd steal them if I thought Raine wouldn't hunt me down and knock the living daylights out of me. Those are her babies. I'll just have to remain their Auntie Nett, who showers them with Christmas gifts, cause that is what Aunties do best. I had the best nap ever, Tooches was on my pillow by my ear snoring really loud and Twitters was curled up in the crook of my arm like a little baby. We had quality bonding time together. We napped, I combed them, I made them chase the ribbon wand all over the place. I fed them, gave them fresh water, cleaned out the litter box, all the stuff Kitties like best.

Ah, the great Gray bear is resting. Keep down the noise, please, we must not upset the Tooch. This is his domain, he only allows you to live here so you can bring him treats to keep the tum tum full and the litter box scooped, you can be replaced. Now stop blocking his sun. Posted by Picasa

"Roar! You see Auntie Nett, that is how I scare those birds away, its a total head game. They have know idea that I am really a mild mannered house cat. It's our secret, I know you won't tell." Posted by Picasa

Hmmmm, someones smells my Indian food, sorry Tooch baby, you are on a diet. I don't think Raine wants me to give you Beef Kurma. Posted by Picasa
