Excuse me Mr Twitters, but I can't read Harry Potter with you sitting on my tummy like this. Ok, fine if you must sit there, please stop stearing into space like you see something moving. It is totally freaking me out. Posted by Picasa

Tooches, does that feel good? Ok, now could you go sleep on someone elses pillow? Posted by Picasa

Ummmm, Twitters, are you enjoying yourself, or what. You know that isn't your new bed, don't you. I'm not sure that drawer was left open for you to make a lounge out of it. I think it was left ajar because you like to knock stuff off the dresser and alteast the drawer would catch your mess. Goofball. Posted by Picasa

Skeeter and my Katie,,,,those two are trouble when you put them together. The gang up on me. I don't think I deserve it,,,,well, maybe a little bit. Posted by Picasa

Yep, that is Zach...my Godson, my cousin....he was trying to block my shot....I won. You have to be quicker than that to beat me to the click. Posted by Picasa

Screw punctuation

Yeah, you heard me. Screw it. I'm really sick of reading my site and finding a ton of goofs. I wish I could be one of those people that are completely compulsive and actually obsessive over my grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Frankly, I just type a bunch of crap into the keyboard and what you see is what you get. Good enough for me. This site is my journal of sorts...It's my say whatever I want to say and live to regret it, site. I just blog, for bloggings sake. It's not my creative outlet, but simply a catalyst. I'm just so used to goofs that they don't surprise me anymore. It's pathetic. Sure I could hit the spell check button but that takes time people and I'd rather spend my time doing something stupid. I'm doomed anyway. I Typed in the invitation for Cliff's parents 60th Anniversary p[arty. Three other adults checked the copy over for typos. It was OK'd and I mailed out all the invitations, only to discover that we all missed that we left out the date. We had "Sunday, August, 2005". Sure it narrowed it down to a month....but the "21st" would have been helpful. I had to send out postcards with corrections on it today. ANNOYING. I'm supposed to be on vacation. A nice old guy told me that I should read the copy upside down next time I need to proof read something. I guess it forces your brain to slow down and really take note of missing things. I'll try it but with a brain like mine....I don't expect much.

Its that time....

I'm going to start reading the new Harry Potter book. I'm afraid I will stay up all night. I will try to put it down....I will, I really will.

Ho hum

I'm not in the best mood right now. I an getting stuck with $60.00 theatre tickets...once again. Ofcourse with my luck everyone is either out of town or working. Katie was going to go with me but she has been feeling rather ill and went to the doctor. Part of me wants to call and ask a certain person if he'd like to join me...but that wouldn't go over well with the others...so I will go by myself. I am never footing the bill for tickets ever again...I always get stuck. Why is that?

I love kitties. I always have. dogs are OK, yeah, they are nice, but give me a cat anyday. This picture reminds me that I was never really thin. I was always a thick kid. I think I can see a little glimpse of a tan. I had a swimsuit that had center straps and you can see the "V" of the string tan line under my chin. Posted by Picasa

Remember how I said that I used to put my sister in my doll buggie and push her around the house? Well, here is a picture to back up that story. I'm telling you, I couldn't make this stuff up. Posted by Picasa

So sad....but I'll have free time to blog...

I put Skeeter on the airplane this morning. She seemed to handle it really well. I will miss having her around...who will beat on me all day?....who will kick me in their sleep?...who will giggle every time I am about ready to fall asleep and just before they wack me with a pillow? ....AH, the important questions in life. Kelsie actually told Katie to beat on me and give me a hard time for her. So sweet, Katie agreed. I must say, I will miss the little pest. She is such a character. I think there should be a rule that two Kasters should never be allowed to hang out without supervision. We tend to get in trouble.

From a total mess to just fine....

Kelsie is doing much better. She went through a bad night on Monday after her Mom and Brother flew home. I think she was just overtired and it was hard having her Mommy so far away for the first time. After she got off the phone with Deanna it only took her 5 minutes to settle down and the nest morning she was a mess becuase she slept wrong and her neck was in pain. We went to the L.I.Children's Museum yesterday, did a little shopping and hung out with Katie again. We really had a great time. Last night we didnt have any tears but she was stressing out when Deanna didn't call as soon as she got off work at the hospital. She then called home, Dea's cell, her Dad's cell....they just rang and rang. I told her they were probably mowing or something but that they would call as soon as they got in the house. Sw we watched the movie "Sleep Over" while we hit re-dial a million times. Finally she talked to her Mom and all was well. We crashed last night and I feel much better now. Kelsie is still asleep so I am going to get a few things done now.

I'm tired.

I took Deanna and Zach to the airport this morning. Kelsie cried for a little bit but she had stopped by the time we were on the Cross Island. We were chatting up a storm. We waited around the house until we heard from Dea and Zach that they had landed and were on their way home. We painted a child size tea set and Kelsie made a pretty bracelet for her Mom to pass the time. We went out for lunch, headed to the Children's museum, which was closed and then we went to IKEA to pick up supplies for a project. After that we went to Sagamore hill in a downpour. After that we stopped at a craft store to pick up the rest of our supplies and then we went to the Leaches to water their plants while they were out of town. We ended up taking Katie to the chinese place and brought the food back to the Leach house to eat with Katie. Then Kelsie and Katie played X-box while I watched. Kelsie was so good at it. I was impressed. After that we went to Blockbuster and Kels picked out a couple of movies. She was tired at 7:30 and was yawning up a storm so I was prepared for her breakdown. It finally came after she called home after her bath. She had been laughing up a storm earlier in the day but I think once she got reached her exhaustion limit, it became tough for her to fight it off. She only cried for 5 minutes after she was off the phone. I gave her a breathing treatment and then we snuggled in bed to watchone of her movies. Deanna is thinking about bringing her home early but I think she might be able to handle staying. We'll see what tomorrow brings. She crashed and is out cold right now. I think I am going to do the same. More on this later.

We went to the beach yesterday, and I was the only one that fried....Deanna, Kelsie and Zach didn't even turn pink. How the hell is that fair? It's not.  Posted by Picasa

The Milk Dud...

It seems as though Kelsie dropped three Milk Duds down my shirt yesterday afternoon andI didn't feel it. So, between driving to the airport and going to the mall, they melted and stuck to my waistband of my shorts. Oh, it gets better, the chocolate bleed through my light blue shirt so it looked like doo-doo. Yeah, yeah, lovely. I thought I leaned on gum or something at first. It was so gross and sticky....but alas, later when I pulled a clump off the inside of my shirt, I knew it was a Milk Dud. Kelsie didn't admit to it right away, but while we were waiting for a movie she spilled the beans to her Mom, which I overheard. I threatened revenge, Deanna was laughing so hard she had tears coming from her eyes.....lol.

Skeeter aka Kelsie, at the beach on a nice summer day. Posted by Picasa

I wonder what his name is.....hmmmmm. Posted by Picasa

Kelsie made me a bear, stuffed it with wishes, and named it after herself. How friggin cute is that. The Birth Certificate says that I stuffed it...but I didn't that was all Skeeters doing. I'll post of the "Kelsie" Bear after I get a photo of her. Posted by Picasa

Everyone is sleeping right now. I have been up since 6:40 AM, because the trash needed to out. I got the job done and now I am wide awake. It's not a beach day. Its over cast and cloudy....but this has nothing to do with the M&M package, does it? Well, I just wanted you know that I tried these pups and I can tell you that they have too much chocolate on them. Why mess with a good thing? Posted by Picasa

The Kaster cousins have arrived! It was 1 AM and they were going strong....look out New York! Posted by Picasa

latest update...

Deanna and the kids were stuck at the airport for a while. They had some issues getting out of Kansas City, no doubt because of the heavy rain we had here this afternoon. I have to pick them up at 11:13 PM instead of 10:05 PM. Its better than the 1 AM that was being tossed around. I have to go take a shower...and head out to LGA via the S.S Pkwy, Cross Island, and the Grand Central Pkwy.....then home again. Pray for no rain tomorrow so we can go to the beach.

Here they come!

Deanna, Zachary, and Kelsie are getting ready to board their plane. I'm picking them up at LGA tonight....can't wait.
