Listen up everyone...I have an announcement to make!

I have decided that I can't stand the header on this site. It's boring and ugly so I am going to work on something in a few days. I have to finnish a few projects first and then I will be pulling my hair out until I have something unique above. It will be my main mission before Easter vacation. I'm feeling inspired by the picute that I posted on Amy's 'ABC Family' template. Look out, I have some ideas in my head. We all know what happens when that happens...trouble looms.

It should get someones attention

I was driving the car this morning and I heard all these cute children's voices saying strange things. "I smoke when I am coloring," "I smoke when I am taking a bubble bath," "I smoke when I am eating," "Sometimes I smoke when I am napping." It thought, "WTF?!" They have maybe 15 different kids each saying a different thing. Then it goes on to have an adult asking if you would let your child smoke a cigarette and that if you smoke around your child from birth...that by the time they reach 5 they have inhaled enough smoke to have smoked 100 packs of cigarettes themselves. Now, my Father smokes, he always has. I hated it when I was a kid, I hate it now. Whenever I see someone smoking in their car or on the street, I can't help but think how unattractive that is. I really feel sorry for them. I mean, my Dad gets pissed when I tell him he is a drug addict because he smokes....but its true, he is hooked on nicotine, sure it is legal but it doesn't make it right.
Anyway, hearing those cute little sweet voices saying they smoke while they are playing with toys, breaks my heart.

Shower my Grandma in 90th Birthday Greetings!

Skeeter's surprise

If you remember, I sent a bunch of beads to Kelsie and she sent me a colorful thank you and a bracelet that she made for me. I was so excited about it that I made her a bracelet. I had called her and asked her what her favorite colors were and she told me but wanted to know why I wanted to know. I told her she would just have to wait and see. I told her to watch the mailbox in a few days. Well, she told her Mom that I was "up to something" and she was a little nervous. LOL, that is because that child has a devious mind like I do. How funny. Anyway, when she got her package and discovered the bracelet, she was a very happy girl. Posted by Picasa

A happy cook indeed.

I made pot roast yesterday. It cooked forever and was very tender but there will be no leftovers. Andy and Deb flew down for the weekend and after everyone got back from the airport they chowed down. I also made Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies and out of a whole batch of cookies, I got two. TWO. Now if that happened all the time I would be a happy camper. I would actually cook more often if people actually ate all the naughty stuff so I would not be forceed to look at it all day and ofcourse, pick away at it. Frankly, I don't like to cook. It isn't one of my favorite things in the world to do. Nope, not at all. My problem is that I like to taste stuff. That is what gets you in trouble.

...Because soemtimes you have to post a forward...

***$20.00***Sometimes we just need to be reminded!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"

Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.

He proceeded to crumple up the $20 bill.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air.

Well, he replied, "What if I do this?"

And he dropped it on the ground

and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.

"Now, who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it

because it did not decrease in value.

It was still worth $20.

Many times in our lives,

we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt

by the decisions we make and

the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or

what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,

you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know,

but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.

You are special Don't EVER forget it."

If men could give birth...

John and Vic went to Vegas....

...and all I got was this postcard. LOL, its better than the STD that....no, no, they didn't get a STD...just kidding. I must say I was a little shocked when I flipped over the postcard(Click on it for better viewing) and read the back. #1) I have never been into S & M...I don't know who they have been talking to. #2) I thought everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but they spilled the beans about the S&M. Seriously, I think that just applies to Mexico and Canada. Does Vegas really count? LOL, this was a FUN post card Aunt Vickie. You should send me more postcards....Mwhahahaha!
Naughty, naughty! I think Tisha' assumption about how John hurt his knee that time was correct. I'm going to start calling Vickie, Kinky. Yeah, it has a nice ring to it.

Todays quote made me laugh...its like the Kaster, male, family motto:

"I can, therefore I am." - Simone Weil

If only they said, "I can, but its not such a great idea, so I won't." I really don't think that will ever, ever, ever happen.
Maybe we should all run around waving a red flag that says BAD IDEA. Nah, they'd just do it them to prove it can be done.

Its that time of year

Ok, its started...yep, Spring Cleaning is under way. There is only so long I can think about all the dust behind the sofa without freaking. I'm not if full mode yet but I'm working up to it. I kind of what to get it done so I can start on my next project. I'm stripping a dresser and re finishing it. I have never done that kind of thing before....so this could be interesting. I have do doubt it will look good if I ever finish it. I will post a "BEFORE" picture...just to get the ball rolling. Anyway, if it ends up looking crappy, I will just paint it. See, I always have a back up plan. OK, I'm off to start a pot roast and then I will be watering all the plants and mopping floors. So if you are not helping, get out of my way.

I'm an idiot!

I did the one thing I didn't want to do. I totally ruined the birthday surprise that I had for Michelle. It was ALL my fault, nobody else spilled the beans. I was lulled into a conversation and it was such an innocent mistake. I did it, didn't even realize it until Michelle said, "Oh you made me a....(fill in the blank)." I'm not saying what it was because Amy is getting a similar one. That is how I ended up blurting it out. Michelle knew I was making one for Amy too. Dang it , dang it, dang it! I was so close. If loose lips sunk ships, I could take out a whole navy without even knowing it. Actually, I am very good about keeping secrets....its just MY secrets that I tend to blurt. I tell you! Oh well. I'll try to keep next years birthday present a secret.

Cruel and unusual punishment!

I recieved an email this morning from my dear friend Raine. This is all it said: "I'm eating Liberte Six Grains Stirred Peach yogurt and it is YUMMMMMY and so worth the 160 calories! I know only you can understand the
adoration!"

I love that yougurt...and the grains mixed into it is so yummy. It reminds me of something I had in Italy when I was visiting my friend. I can't get it on Long Island. I have to go to a certain grocery store on the Upper East Side of NYC to get it. I am totally and completely croaking to get my hands on some of it and its all Raines fault. Sheesh!

There is a sucker born every minute

I must have been born in that minute. Why? I'll tell you why. I got suckered into sending out Easter invitations for Deanna. How the hell that happened, I have no idea. All I know is that I am going to be filling out invitations tonight and sending them out tomorrow. Mark my words...I WILL NOT BE STAINING WOODWORK WHILE I AM HOME. No way! I'm sending out her invitations so I don't have to stain woodwork (stomp feet and cross arms across chest)...and I'm the one that is paying for a airline ticket. Do I have "SUCKER" written across my forehead? I must.
Is there anything worse that dog breath? I am sure there must be. Just pointing out that not all scratch and sniff stickers are a good idea.

Ouch!

I had a headache on Sat but I had plans so I took some pain reliever and ignored it. I woke up on Sunday morning to a thumper of a migraine. I tried sleeping it off and stayed in bed all day, I took some medicine and just crashed. I made sure I forced myself to eat something and then I went back to bed. That was my daily routine. At one point Sam knocked on my door because there was water spraying all over the side of the house. It looked like the lawn sprinkler system sprung a leak...but the funny part is that it isn't supposed to be on. Cliff hit pause on the control box but I have no idea how long that will last. I have to call the sprinkler guy in the morning. Cliff then butchered the tree out back. It looks like crappola....seriously. I don't know what he thought he was doing but I told him he didn't do a very good job. Why the hell did I have to call the tree service for a estimate if he was just going to chop it up and make it look even more lopsided? I need a vacation. NOW! Anyway, my head still hurts but not as bad as it did...the drumming is pretty light now. I can't sleep right now of course, because I was crashed most of the day. I thought I would take care of my emailing and fix a couple of blog site problems for friends. Now I am done and I'm going to go back to bed.

I hope everyone else had a lovely Sunday.

I'm so full I could up-chuck

Well, I had a great time tonight. I went into the City this afternoon and met so wonderful friends for dinner, a show and desert afterward. I felt like I needed to be rolled home. I went against my gut feeling and ordered one of the specials at the Cuban place. I don't know why I do that. I have terrible luck with specials. My chicken was dry and it was very sad...very, very sad, indeed. The show was cute. I like that whole WW2 time period so that had my attention and it was cute. At first I thought...oh no, overacting...but once they got into the show it wasn't as bad. Must have been nerves. After the show and the pushy elevator people, we headed over to Pigalle for yummy for the tummy desserts. De-lish! I caught the 12:05 train home and actaully fell asleep on the train. I rarely do that, sepecially when I am alone. I'm always afraid I will sleep thought a stop. I never have, put there is always that chance. I remember stopping at Jamaca and then the next thing I remember is pulling into Rockville Centre. At that point a bunch of loud 20 year olds got on the train, drunker than skunks and loud as sin. They sat down next to me and they were practically yelling in my ear so I got up and stood next to the doors because my stop was next anyway. Thanks to my cat nap, I can't sleep now. AUGH! I've decided to goof off for a few more minutes and then I am forcing myself to go to sleep.
I blame MiYon for this quiz. I had to know which Simpson I am and I must say, I do have a little bit of Bart in me. I can't help it that I am a joker.

You Are Bart Simpson

Very misunderstood, most people just dismiss you as "trouble."

Little do they know that you're wise and well accomplished beyond your years.

You will be remembered for: starring in your own TV show and saving the town from a comet

Your life philosophy: "I don't know why I did it, I don't know why I enjoyed it, and I don't know why I'll do it again!"

Man! I just can't stop taking these stupid quizes. Well, atleast I am a candy that I actually love. Yummy! For the record, I do not have sticky fingers. I licked my fingers off just ten minutes ago....ewww, lol.

Butterfinger

They call you sticky fingers for a reason!

How to wind your Mother's clock.

Ok, this is an easy, step by step guide to winding your Mom's clock. If your Mother is anything like mine....here is what you do. Call her up, talk to her for a good 20 minutes about nothing in particular to get her primed. Have her make a hair cutting appointment for you on your next trip home. Wait a few weeks, call her again. Blab about nothing in particular for a few minutes and mention that you should get your teeth cleaned while you are home because it is cheaper there. Then tell her to call the Doctors office and make an appointment for you. Hold your ear away from the phone...she will start sputtering. "Why do I have to make you appointment for you, why don't you call, I don't know when you want to have that done, how am I supposed to know when it will work for you.....ect, ect. This is the point where your Dad will make a comment that you can't quite hear and when you ask what he said, your mom will tell you that you need to "stop winding her clock." That basically means you were getting her all worked up about something silly. I mean, jeepers, I only suggested she make the appointment because its a local call for her. She knows when I will be back, so she knows when it will work. She made the hair appointment without flipping out. LOL, I know what the problem is. She has Dad tell her to call and make all of his appointments. I'm not sure what his excuse is. I know he knows his numbers, he uses them when he runs the TV remote. My Mother is soooo high strung sometimes, MAN, she goes from normal to coo coo in two seconds flat. LOL, I still love you Mom! I think part of her aggravation stems from the fact that she keeps forgetting to make the appointment with the photographer so we can have family pictures taken when I am back. I told her I would leave a message on the machine on Monday so she will remember. Then I have the nerve to tell her to make another call for me. WHAT NERVE I HAVE! Anyway, I am having her email the dentists phone number to me...and I'll make the appointment myself. Its just easier that way. Plus, I think she hid the wind up key from me so I can't use it anymore.

If only I could remember...

Ok, this is driving me nuts. Years ago I came across a story that can be told by removing the petals of a Pansy, one at a time. For the life of me, I can't remember the story or where I read it at. Has anyone ever heard of this. It might of been about a king...but I could just be confused. I have no idea why it is stuck in my brain right now, but it is driving me crazy.

Where did all the milk go?

Since Cliff had his birthday on Monday and I had purchased a chocolate cake for the birthday boy, all the milk disappeared rather quickly. Yesterday morning there was a full half gallon in the fridge and that usually lasts a couple of days. Well, it didn't this time and I didn't have any milk for breakfast so I had to be creative. I decided to have a toasted tuna fish sandwich with muenster cheese on oat nut bread for breakfast. Yummy! I'm not one of those people that are against non breakfast foods during the early morning hours. Actually, sometimes I enjoy breakfast foods for dinner. Food is food. I don't care what anyone says, cold pizza tastes mighty fine in the moring. I guess I should go take a quick shower so I can run out and pick up enough milk to get us through the week. I miss my morning cereal. I couldn't even have oatmeal because I like a little milk in mine. Oh well! Anyone interested in coming over for tacos...or maybe left over pot roast sandwiches, the next time we run out of milk for breakfast?

Amen

2006 Easter family get-together:

OK PEOPLE!
This year we will be celebrating early!

Yep, so have your butts at:

Lonnie and Deanna's house
by 1 PM
on Saturday, April 15th.

Be there or the Easter Doggie won't be visiting your house this year! He ate the Easter Bunny and now he has to fill in until another bunny replacement can be found. Bad Dog, Bad Dog!

The title to this picture should be: GOT EGGS?

It's NOT my fault...

Cindy has a HUGE laundry pile. Sometimes the pile shrinks but from what I have gathered it tends to grow more than shrink. We were talking for a while on the phone today and she said she was going to say it was my fault that her laundry didn't get done.

Here is my take on that! If you can eat dinner while talking to me, you can start a few loads and fold a few loads....hence, it is not my fault that Cindy's laundry did not get done.

I swear I'm going to call her Evelyn after Grandma Kaster, we all know that woman had a laundry pile that was OUT OF CONTROL....but she also had 8 kids. Cindy has one and I think she does her own laundry now. LOL, she better get it done because I plan on paying a surprise laundry inspection visit while I am home over Easter.

I love thank you's from kids...

There is something special about receiving a homemade thank you from a child. I save them. I put them on the fridge for a while and then I tuck them away for safe keeping. I just got this one was from my little cousin Skeeter. She would be happy to know that I am wearing the bracelet right now. She did a great job on it. She is another crafty gal. When she came to visit me last summer we made some fun stuff together. I think she entered some of it for 4-H at the county fair. Anyway, I'll be home for Easter in a few weeks and I can't wait to pick on good old Skeeter. You have to watch her, she is a sneaky little bugger. Whatever you do, don't leave your shoes by the front door. She may stick a COLD, WET wash cloth in your show while you are not looking. She'll cram it way down in side of it too, so you don't see it right away. I think she may be a little more evil than I am, she must get that from her Mom's side of the family. LOL!

Why didn't I watch this show?

Katie had rented several of the Arrested Development DVDs from Blockbuster. She told me I had to watch them when I told her I had never heard of it. What! Was I locked in a closet somewhere? Nope, in fact it turned out that I had actually watched 5 minutes of one of the shows from last season but I had no idea what the hell was going on so I turned the channel. It turns out that all I really needed was a quick lesson in who the characters were and what their relationship to each other was. Then it all started to make sense. It was really quite campy and very well written. I must say, I am now a fan. Sure, sure, just when it is going off the air, I decide I like it. Dang it! Well, I guess that is OK, since really there is only so much time I can spend watching TV.

Anyway, check out the show if you have never watched it....but start from the beginning because the show builds on itself.
Oh and here is Michael Bluth's family recipe for the family Banana stand which is one of the only parts of their business empire that was running legally while his Father was in charge. He is in prison now....or he was but he broke out and...its complicated:

Frozen Banana Ingredients:
3 bananas
Ice-cream sticks
2 chocolate bars weighing about 1 1/2 ounces each

Directions:
Cut the bananas in half, and push an ice-cream stick through the cut end of each half. Cover them in plastic wrap and freeze for about 3 hours.
After the bananas are frozen, place some chocolate bars in a microwave-proof bowl and cook on High for about 2 minutes. Make sure it is microwave safe, Michaels son George Michael had an incident.
Check after one minute. Stir in the nuts, cereal, or coconut. Using a butter knife, spread the chocolate mixture over the frozen banana to coat them completely. Rest the pops on a plate covered with waxed paper and freeze until ready to serve.

You can have one of these bad boys while you watch the show. Check out the link for show details.

I'm a creature of habit...

I've said it once, I'll say it again. I have my little things that I do and I don't really think about it much. I just do them without thinking about it....crazy habits. One of them is checking the series date on bills. I got very excited today when I found this 1950 B series bill in my money from the ATM. I have not come across a bill that old in quite sometime. What was so pathetic is how excited I got over something so silly. I was sitting in the car at the stop light pumping my arm in the air like a freak, saying, "YESSSSSS!" I also like to look at the bill number and try to find one with the most 7's in it. This one only had one but sometimes I get lucky and fine one with 4 or 5. Seven is my lucky number. I also like to search my pennies for wheat pennies. I put them in a jar. It reminds me of my Grandpa, he did the same thing. I'm always looking your the date 1970 on my money....well, because it was the year of my birth, if for no other reason. I've been doing that since I was a kid. I know, I'm strange but atleast I admit it. We can't all say that.

Its craft time with Netter

What can you make with two pot holders, a kitchen towel, some ribbon and 4 buttons.

Childrens aprons....its easy and they are so cute. They can be used for playing house of for some real cooking fun.

If you want directions on how to make them, I'll post the directions on my craft site later this week.

Now you know why I have not been blogging as much...Its been craft time!

Karma bit her in the Ass

Posted by Picasa Katie told me I was annoying. Actually she said I was the most annoying person in the world but then she said that it was actually a close call but this girl in her dorm was actually THE MOST annoying. I had to work at it more than her. I bet you are wondering how this all started. Well, Katie was taking Amtrak back to college. She had to take the LIRR to Penn to catch her other train and I said I would go into the City with her. She gets bored going by herself and her parents or brother would have gone with her but they had to go to a funeral. One of her brothers friends from high school passed away, long story, very sad. Anyway, I took these pictures of her on the train. I had her completely annoyed. It started out when she said she wondered what the weather was going to be like in Lancaster. I told her that I watched the weather channel and it said they were going to bet some ice showers and then 5 inches of snow on top of that. Now, I really hadn't watched the weather channel...I just knew that Katie was wanting warm weather so she could wear her new dress. She was freaking out over my weather prediction and was trying to get me to tell her I was kidding. I was playing coy. Every chance I got I would bring up all that snow and ice. It was glorious!
So picture us at the Amtrak part of Penn Station. We are waiting and suddenly a girl comes up to us and said Hi to Katie. I noticed her name on her jacket and I think to myself..."Hmmmm, I think this is the worlds most annoying person!" Guess what! I was right. She was taking the same train back. LOL! She only told me about 10 times on the train to Penn that I was annoying....but she was going to get to ride all the way back to Lancaster with THE MOST ANNOYING girl. Karma!
I headed home after the girls got on their train. I went back over to the Leach's because Jim said I should come for dinner since I was so nice and went with Katie to the train. I told Jim and Jean about Katies announcement and so Jim called Katie and told her that he had just watched the weather channel and that they were getting ice and snow in Lancaster. She freaked and asked if I told him to say that....and he said no...lol and she knew and hung up on him. LOL! Then he called back and they had a good laugh. Here is the best part....I IM'd Katie when she was back at college:
katies1sexymofo [10:30 PM]: bah
katies1sexymofo [10:31 PM]: it actually is snowing...
Asknetter1970 [10:31 PM]: LOL
Asknetter1970 [10:31 PM]: seriously?!
katies1sexymofo [10:31 PM]: i don't f#&king believe it
katies1sexymofo [10:31 PM]: yessss!
Asknetter1970 [10:31 PM]: Life is gooood!
katies1sexymofo [10:31 PM]: flurries
katies1sexymofo [10:31 PM]: f#&kin lancaster
Asknetter1970 [10:31 PM]: how was your train trip with the MOST annoying person in the world?!
katies1sexymofo [10:32 PM]: hahahha, well I listened to music played sudooku and ignored her
katies1sexymofo [10:32 PM]: ummm arent you supposed to be at my house?
Asknetter1970 [10:32 PM]: I came home because I was tired but I did eat dinner with your parents.
Asknetter1970 [10:32 PM]: You know, I wouldn't let you ignore me...she must be nicer than me
katies1sexymofo [10:33 PM]: well she was sitting in front of me
Asknetter1970 [10:33 PM]: me too
katies1sexymofo [10:33 PM]: she kept trying to interrupt me
katies1sexymofo [10:33 PM]: butttt
Asknetter1970 [10:34 PM]: lol, I still would have got the job done
katies1sexymofo [10:34 PM]: I turned up the volume
Asknetter1970 [10:34 PM]: LOL...evil
katies1sexymofo [10:35 PM]: ahhhhhhhh
katies1sexymofo [10:35 PM]: its clinging
katies1sexymofo [10:35 PM]: f#&k snow
Asknetter1970 [10:35 PM]: I told you...snow!
Asknetter1970 [10:35 PM]: Karma is biting you in the ass because you called me names and didn't believe me
katies1sexymofo [10:35 PM]: you f#&king jinxed me
Asknetter1970 [10:35 PM]: Hell yah!
Asknetter1970 [10:36 PM]: I did....I'm a great jinxer, ask Raine
katies1sexymofo [10:36 PM]: yeah

Anyway, I did find out that THE ANNOYING girl actually spent most of her time on the phone while on the train...and Katie was very nice to her while we were waiting for the train. I can see why Katie thinks she is so annoying. I agree. She doesn't have to try to be annoying, no effort at all.

Doodle Power!

I like to doodle. I do, I do. I started doodling on my clip board while I was talking on the phone. My sharpie was there, the clip board was there, the paper was absent. I didn't even have an old envelope or a phone book close at hand. I had to do it, I did, so I started in the corner and worked my way across and then down. The design wasn't planned, it never is, it just takes on a life of its own. Man! You just have to love Doodle Art.

I take those stupid online quizes in hopes that they will bore me enough to put me back to sleep. Guess what!
It worked.
I'm off to slumberland.
Night...I mean Good morning!
You Are a Prophet Soul

You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.

You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul
Your Life Path Number is 11

Your purpose in life is to inspire others

Your amazing energy draws people to you, and you give them great insight in return.
You hold a great amount of power over others, without even trying.
You have the makings of an inventor, artist, religious leader, or prophet.

In love, you are sensitive and passionate. You connect with your partner on a very deep level.

You have great abilities, but you are often way too critical of yourself.
You don't fit in - and instead of celebrating your differences, you dwell on them.
You have high expectations of yourself. But sometimes you set them too high and don't achieve anything.
Your Personality Is

Artisan (SP)

You are both grounded and flexible. You adapt well to new situations.
You are playful and free spirited - but you are also dependable and never flaky.

You don't do well in conservative, stuffy situations.
It's probably very hard for you to keep a normal job or stay in school.

You are always up for fun and adventure. Most people are too boring for you.
You take risks and bend the rules. And if things don't work out, you chock it up to life experience.

In love, you tend to take things quickly - but you have a huge problem with commitment.

At work, you need to make your own rules. You're best suited to be an entrepreneur.

With others, you are animated and physical. You prefer doing something with friends to just hanging out.

As far as your looks go, you tend to be buff and in good shape. Your spend more time on your body than your clothes.

On weekends, you need to keep active. From cooking up a storm to running a 5K, you wear yourself out.
You Are Fozzie Bear

"Wocka! Wocka!"
You're the life of the party, and you love making people crack up.
If only your routine didn't always bomb!
You may find more groans than laughs, but always keep the jokes coming.

That put a smile on your face, didn't it!

What is it about a smiling baby that melts even the coldest heart? Just look at that happy little cutie pie! You just want to kiss her little cheek and touch that little button nose, tickle her tummy...ah, the endless possibilities. Sure she will drool all over you and everything you own. Her feet will probably smell like cheese, all babies do no matter how well you clean them. She will produce piles of diapers but in the end it's all worth it to hear them giggle and see them smile and watch them grow and learn new things. There is nothing more calming that rocking a baby to sleep and having them snuggle up against you.
Darn it, they are CUTE! I'm actually more of a toddler person. They are into everything, active as hell, sucking up new things like sponges. Still, there is something about a baby with a big slobbery smile and a high pitched giggle that makes me laugh too. I must be nesting right now....lol.

Don't be shy!

Why do I bother?

I fold his clean clothes and hand over the basket. They never seem to get put away. He just uses it as a giant dresser and digs right in. My question is: Why do I even bother to fold them? After he digs in the basket a couple of times you can't tell if they were ever folded. I thinkI should boycott and wash them and throw them right in the basket in a big ball. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Posted by Picasa

Hehehehe

Katie loves it when I snap action pictures of her...especially when she is eating. She is about two seconds away from yelling at me to put the stinking camera away...but I could never do that, not when I know I annoy her so much. She ate most of my Penne and only a few hours before that I fed her a turkey sandwich. We have to feed her though, otherwise she gets cranky! Posted by Picasa

W.W.R.M.D? That is the question.

Katie came over yesterday and hung out for a while before she had to go to a sleepover at her friend Sarah's house. Some of the girls were getting together for a Rachel McAdams Movie Fest. Katie Joked that she was going to make a R.M. poster and run through the street with it during breaks between movies. Well, how funny would it be if she really showed up with a poster!? Yep, I got out the arts and craft supplies and put Katie to work. She got some pictures of her online but I am sad to say that she couldn't find any pictures of Rachal kicking butt in the movie RED EYE. WE had glitter everywhere. I have no idea how the poster went over....I have not talked to Katie today. I have a feeling it was a big splash with the other college students. Posted by Picasa

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Do you have your green on? I would hate for you to be pinched all day. Ok, so it wouldn't bother me a bit, unless I wasn't the one doing the pinching. Do you remember as a kid, hiding your green so the person that pinched you thinking you were greenless could be pinched back. Oh yeah, I was evil. I liked to go for the green on my socks or my underwear....socks were better because it wasn't so embarrassing to prove you were wearing green if you had it hidden there.

May the luck of the Irish be with you today....oh what the heck, may it be with you always. Eat some cornbeef and cabbage and drink a green beer for me today. You know you want to, so stop complaining, they don't have any calories today, Saint Patty declared it. Ok, I did that, but isn't it a great idea!

That is one excited Aunt!

Ok, so she said she liked her birthday present...the bird crossing sign. Denise said she liked it, her daughter wouldn't lie. I don't know about you, but from the look on her face in this picture, Vickie doesn't look so excited. She has that, "Take the friggin' picture!" look on her face. Well, at least her tongue isn't sticking out. It usually is, in most of my pictures of Aunt Vickie. Here is my take on this picture: It was a little chilly out and the cold air made her have to pee....so she was just trying to hold it in until she could make a run for the house. Either that or she had a hole in her pants that she is trying to cover up. It's the hand placement that has me wondering....I'm trying to keep this clean, people. Don't get me started! Let's wait for Aunt Vickie to comment to find out what the deal was. Hehehehehe!
